Step 5: After the exchange
Transfer of courses
The completion of the course transfer will only be done once you have returned from your studies abroad and requires:
- That we have received your Transcripts of Records
- That all courses have been entered into MOA with correct course code, name and amount of credits
- That the accreditor have approved the courses in MOA
When we have received your transcript, we will mark that in the MOA workflow, you then see it has arrived. If there are any unanswered questions the accreditation process will stop.
The course name and number of credits will be transferred to ladok, the grades will not. A passed grade at the partner university is a passed grade at JU.
If we receive your Transcript of Records by post, they are yours and can be picked up at Service Center.

FAQ
What happens when I get home if I have failed an exam or another part of a course abroad?
Re-examinations are very rare at many of our partner universities. If you fail a course you may have to take an extra course at Jönköping University to be able to obtain your degree.
Where should transcript of records be sent?
The transcript of records must first be sent to Jönköping University to be processed. If the transcripts are sent directly to you, then you should send a certified copy to transcripts@ju.se as soon as possible.
