  • JU researchers part of new research project on the challenges of working life


    Researchers Johannes Hagen and Andrea Schneider at Jönköping University (JU) are part of a research programme that recently received almost SEK 24 million from the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (Forte). The programme aims to create new and policy-relevant knowledge about how the design of social insurance systems affects people's lives and society at large. The goal is to contribute to a working life that is sustainable, inclusive, and promotes health.

    Live Mølmen, PhD student at the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU) and the research school Smart Industry Sweden, recently defended her doctoral thesis "Durability evaluation of PEM fuel cell components". The thesis can help improve the electrification of vehicles.

  • “Adults on street patrols must respect the privacy of young people”


    They should not be too judgmental or overly reprimanding. They must also have respect for young people’s privacy and their need to be left alone.This is part of the findings from an evaluation, carried out by researchers Birgitta Ander and Diana Kajic from the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University, on the youth safety work in seven municipalities of Kalmar County.

  • JU researcher in collaboration with Telia about child safety on the internet


    Frida Lygnegård from the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University has been commissioned by Telia to evaluate a digital tool, the "Mobile Driving Licence". The tool is designed to help children and their parents feel safer online. The evaluation showed that the tool has helped parents to talk to their children about internet safety.
