  • The library releases a new Word guide

    Do you sometimes struggle with creating a table of contents, page numbers, or using different settings for different sections in your Word documents? The library’s new Word guide helps you with the most common questions and settings. The guide walks you through the basic settings you need to know, such as how to work with headings and styles to create an accurate table of contents. You will also learn how to remove page numbers from the table of contents and appendices.You can find the Word guide, along with the library’s other guides, on the library website.If you have questions about Word that are not covered in the guide, you are welcome to visit the library’s drop‑in sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 13–14.   • SciVal – a new tool for research evaluation

    Jönköping University now has access to SciVal from Elsevier, an analytics tool based on bibliometric data from Scopus. The tool enables evaluation and visualization of research performance and mapping of research impact at the institutional, departmental, and individual researcher levels. It also allows comparisons with other institutions and helps identify potential collaboration partners. JU has access to the following modules:

    • Collaboration
    • Trends
    • Impact
