The library commemorates the Holocaust Remembrance Day

27 January is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The library has an exhibition with many important reading tips as well as a mini-exhibition about the history of racial thinking.

The day occurs on the same date that the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp was liberated in 1945 and aims to honor all those who were murdered during the Holocaust. It is also a day that reminds us of the equal value of all people.

Exhibition in the library

In the library's exhibition, you will find non-fiction, memoirs and fiction that deal with the Holocaust in different ways. You can also take part of the exhibition RAZA - Om att sortera människor, which deals with the history of racial thinking and where ideas about race come from. The exhibition is produced by the Swedish public agency The Living History Forum and only available in Swedish.
