Salary is paid to all employees, usually on the 25th of each month, by Swedbank.

Salaries at Jönköping University are paid on the 25th of each month or, if the 25th is a Sunday or public holiday, on the following working day. If the 25th is a Saturday, the salary is paid on the 24th.

The salary is paid by Swedbank. If Swedbank is not your bank, you need to provide information to Swedbank about which account you want your salary transferred to: Register your account with Swedbank's account register (in Swedish) External link, opens in new window.

If your salary is to be transferred to a bank account in your home country, contact your manager/payroll administrator and provide the following information:

  • Name of bank
  • Address of bank
  • Country
  • ABA/Routing number
  • IBAN-/Account number
  • BIC/SWIFT-code
