## About the programme Be part of the AI revolution and acquire the skills to shape the technologies driving global change. AI is transforming industries and society, and with this programme, you’ll become highly sought after in the job market. You will explore AI’s impact through data science, machine learning (including deep learning and reinforcement learning), knowledge representation, and optimisation, while also strengthening your core knowledge with courses covering AI fundamentals. The programme is built on the latest research and is part of the prestigious CDIO Initiative™ for the engineers of the future. With an international outlook, all courses are taught in English, and you will collaborate with students from around the world. Internships and thesis projects will help you build professional networks, and you’ll also have the opportunity to study abroad. ### Your future career Upon graduation, you’ll be ready for a career in AI as a data scientist, AI engineer, or machine learning expert. Requirements: The applicant must hold the minimum of a bachelor’s degree (i.e the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 90 credits in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering (with relevant courses in computer engineering), or equivalent. The bachelor’s degree should comprise a minimum of 15 credits in mathematics. Proof of English proficiency is required.

With a Master’s degree in AI engineering, you will have a bright future in information technology, with a wide array of possible roles available, such as data scientist, AI engineer, software engineer, or machine learning engineer. Truly excellent students may also be offered positions as PhD-students.

Students will be equipped to work in different intelligent software products and services situations - from major organisations to micro-businesses; from large enterprise software systems to small, specialised embedded software components; from Web-facing applications to back-end data processing.

In the elective Internship placement course you can choose to do an internship at a company or another organization. The goal is to give you an understanding of future work tasks and how these are related to your education. Other elective courses will be available.

All courses are conducted in English and you study together with other international students. There are possibilities for you to study one semester abroad at one of our partner universities.
