Research
Stephen’s research specializes in the digitization and management of data within the construction industry. His doctoral research focuses on the advanced monitoring of buildings and structural elements to enhance sustainability and support the principles of the circular economy. His work aims to increase resource efficiency throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.

Biography
Stephen has a background in Civil Engineering, complemented by four years of practical experience in construction supervision and design engineering. His academic pursuits led him to Sweden, where he advanced his expertise in Structural Engineering at Linnaeus University. There, he also expanded his thesis work on “Non-uniform Compression loading of CLT” as a project assistant through 2022. Stephen began exploring the digital aspects of the construction industry through his participation as a student in the program Sustainable BIM (master level) and got involved in research and teaching during the last year of the program.
