Lithuanian Ambassador talks on the war in Ukraine
Welcome to a lecture on the war in Ukraine by Linas Linkevičius, Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden. He will talk about security issues and the consequences of the war for the Nordic and Baltic countries. The lecture will be held on Tuesday 12 November in the JMW Hall in the University Library at Jönköping University (JU) and coffee will be served.
Linas Linkevičius, Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden, and a delegation representing Lithuania, will visit Jönköping 12-13 November. The schedule includes meetings with Brittis Benzler, County Governor of Jönköping County, Henrik Dahlström, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce in Jönköping, and several company visits. The purpose of the delegation's visit is, among other things, to create contacts and areas of cooperation.
During the ambassador's visit to Jönköping, he will also give a lecture at JU for students, staff and other interested parties about the war in Ukraine and highlight security issues and the consequences it may have for neighbouring countries. After the lecture, the Ambassador and his delegation will meet JU´s President's team for further dialogue.
