Young Female Leader of the Year 2022 announced
In the evening of 2 March, the big award ceremony was held at restaurant Småland at Elmia in Jönköping where the winner of Young Female Leader of the Year was announced. The winner is Eliza Sjöberg, IT and Administration Director at Flintab AB. Jönköping University is a partner to Young Female Leader of the Year.
Of the 21 nominees for Young Female Leader of the Year, six of them were alumnae from Jönköping University (JU) and Ida Hiben, coordinator at The School of Engineering (JTH) at JU, was one of the nominees.
“It was great fun to be nominated! I feel like a winner in every way, and it is very inspiring to continue to develop as a leader. I am on parental leave for my Ray, who is now a month old, but in the autumn, I will return to JTH,” says Ida Hiben.
Anders Jonzon, Communications Director at JU, is a member of the jury and he believes that the Young Female Leader of the Year award is important for the county and that JU is a large part of the region’s skills supply.
“This is one of the most important awards of the year! I have been on the jury for six years and every year we see numerous amazing achievements made by young women in this county. Many of them have completed their education at Jönköping University. It makes me both proud and happy to see that our alumnae are contributing to the region's continued competence development,” says Anders Jonzon.
The winner of Young Female Leader of the Year was Eliza Sjöberg, IT and Administration Director at Flintab AB. In addition to the title, she wins leadership coaching through Combitech as well as a yearly training pass and PT hours at Friskis & Svettis. The award Young Leading Board Talent of the Year was also handed out at the ceremony, the winner was Isabela Lucas, Sustainability and Quality Manager at Hags i Aneby AB.
