Lithuania's ambassador on a quick visit to JU

On 7 October, Lithuanians ambassador Giedrius Čekuolis visited Jönköping University when he was passing through Jönköping. He wanted to take the opportunity to visit the university and at the same time take the opportunity to meet students and teachers originally from Lithuania.

This was the ambassador's first visit to Jönköping, and he was very impressed by JU.

“I would say this place is brilliant, I'm very impressed. Everything is nice and it's not just an empty place, it's clear it's built for a purpose. This is the first time for me in this lovely city,” says Giedrius Čekuolis.

“It has been a very rewarding visit. The Lithuanian ambassador is involved in international issues and views JU's international collaborations very positively,” says Agneta Marell, president Jönköping University.
