First in Sweden with approved revision of HR certification
As the first university in Sweden, Jönköping University (JU) has passed the first revision of the development work that is done within the framework of the EU Commission's certification "HR Excellence in Research" which JU received in December 2018.
The certification that Jönköping University holds shows that the university has good conditions and the right ambitions to offer academic teachers and researchers excellent working conditions, and that JU meets the Commission's requirements for open and transparent recruitment processes.
Jönköping University has passed the European Commission's revision without any remarks. The auditors expressed that JU's work is robust and systematic, and praise was given to the university for its great commitment when working with these issues.
“I know that we are in a league of our own when it comes to this work in Sweden, but I am surprised that we received a revision that did not contain any remarks at all. That is very good,” says Ingrid Estrada-Magnusson, HR Director at Jönköping University.
The approved revision means that Jönköping University retains the certification and continues the process of working for an excellent working environment for academic teachers and researchers. The next revision, which includes site visits from the EU Commission, will be conducted in three years time.
