Marie Ernsth Bravell new dean at the School of Health and Welfare
Marie Ernsth Bravell, associate professor of gerontology, has been appointed dean and Managing Director of the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University. She will start on 1 July 2020.
Marie Ernsth Bravell is associate professor of gerontology at the School of Health and Welfare (HHJ) at Jönköping University and she started working as a Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Gerontology during her studies in September 1995. Between the years 2011–2018, Marie worked part-time as a strategist for elder care in Jönköping municipality, with the aim of conducting in-depth research in strategically selected areas of elder care and in collaboration with staff in elder care facilities.
Since 2018, Marie has been combining gerontological research with the assignment as Vice President for Research at Jönköping University. During the fall of 2019, Marie was acting Dean and Managing Director of the School of Health and Welfare.
