New Dean at School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University
Dennis Larsson has been appointed Dean and Managing Director at the School of Health and Welfare from August 2017.
Dennis Larsson is currently Head of the School of Health and Education at University of Skövde and has university-wide responsibility for innovation and utilization as well as research funding from the EU research programmes.
Dennis Larsson is a professor of biomedicine at University of Skövde and has a PhD in zoophysiology at the University of Gothenburg. In the fields of science and medicine, he has developed ideas into business activities based on his own research results.
"Through his many assignments and roles in education, research and from owning his own business, Dennis has accumulated knowledge and experience that will make him a good force to further develop the School of Health and Welfare, and Jönköping University. We warmly welcome Dennis”, says Mats Jägstam, Acting President of Jönköping University.

Dennis Larsson begins the position of Dean and Managing Director of the School of Health and Welfare when current Dean Ewa Wigaeus Tornqvist retires.
