Johanna Bergström

Johanna Bergström is a senior lecturer in Global Studies at the School of Education and Communication with a research interest in sustainability perspectives in international politics. She has conducted research on gender equality, indigenous traditional knowledge, sustainability issues in Latin America, and has analysed EU policy from sustainability perspectives.

Her PhD was completed through the Erasmus Mundus program 'Globalization, the EU and Multilateralism', leading to a dual degree from the University of Warwick and the LUISS Guido Carli University. She has teaching experience from  Umeå University, Mid-Sweden University and Addis Abeba University.
