Movin Sequeira (Master i Produktionssystem) är doktorand inom ämnesområde produktionssystem. Hans forskningsintresse är inom  produktion lokaliseringsbeslut. Han studerar "återflyttningsbeslut", där tillverkande företag tar beslut för att flytta tillbaka produktionen till hemlandet. Under de senaste åren har flera företag tagit beslut att återflytta, särskilt i högkostnadsländer tex. Sverige. Det finns ett behov av att öka förståelsen inom återflyttning och undersöka verktyg för beslutsstöd för dessa typ av beslut.

Anledningar till att återflytta produktion är att ökade kostnader i lågkostnadslander och kravet på kort leveranstid och hög flexibilitet. Movin är intresserad av att studera de kriterier som beaktas i en återflyttningsbeslut och hur dessa kriterier kan modelleras till ett beslutsstödssystem för digital och automatisk beslut.
