Moe Soheilian
Moe Soheilian is an experienced Persian architect who holds an Architectural engineering degree from Dubai. In 2016, he started to study “Industrial design” master program at Jönköping University, and During this period, he had the chance to work with companies such as IKEA and ITAB scan flow. He completed his master thesis in “Designing a new self-checkout for grocery shopping” in collaboration with ITAB. In July 2018, he was admitted to the third cycle research education, and he is currently a doctoral student at the Department of Construction Engineering and Lighting Science at Jönköping University. His research project is funded by Swedish Energy Agency, and it is called SMart Illumination in Living Environments (SMILE) where the main goal is to design and test different protocols for a smart lighting system in apartments which aim to improve both the home’s energy performance and the residents’ well-being. In the past couple of months, he has gained insight into the research area as well as tested existing smart lighting products available on the market. Currently, he is creating a SMILE Lab at the department to test and demonstrate different intelligent lighting solutions in a residential environment.
