International expertise in Ageing and the Economy

JIBS research centre CEnSE is organising a workshop in urban economics 27-29 May, with participants from eight countries and some top names in the field.

The researchers will among other things discuss entrepreneurship and age, factors influencing when people retire, and unemployment in younger and older individuals.

On Friday morning 29 May, two lectures held by important names in the field will be open to the public. Professor Geoffrey Hewings will talk about Unraveling Household Heterogeneity in Regional Models between 9 and 10, and Professor Åke Andersson will talk about Economic Growth and Changes of Demography and structure of Values between 10.30 and 11.30.

Both lectures are held in room B4043 at Jönköping International Business School, Jönköping University.
