FFI International Award 2012 to CeFEO Researcher
Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) and CeFEO are very proud to announce that Professor Leif Melin (Director of CeFEO) has received the International Award from FFI (Family Firm Institute).
Established in 2000, The Interdisciplinary Awards recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding achievement in furthering the understanding of family business issues which occur between two or more countries. Leif Melin, long active in international family business and entrepreneurship efforts, is the Director of CeFEO and Professor of Strategy and Organization at JIBS. His research has been published widely in international book volumes and journals such as The Family Business Research Handbook and FBR. He has received a major national award for successful development and dissemination of research based knowledge about family businesses, and he has received the Best Paper Award at the International Family Business Network World Conference. His latest work entitled, Managerial Practices in Family Owned Firms: Strategizing Actors, their Arenas and their Emotions, was recently published in a new book from Oxford University Press.
