Jönköping University hosts annual summer school

Students from Ecuador, Marocco, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, Germany and USA came to Jönköping University to study on the School of Engineering's Purchasing Logistics with a Global Perspective course at the JU Summer School 2018. 

JU Summer School is an international event that extends cooperation between the School of Engineering and its partner universities in the field of exchange and the international campus initiative.

The summer school kicked off with an introduction, followed by the celebration of Sweden's national day. The students studied an intensive course at the School of Engineering for a month, where company visits to IKEA and Husqvarna were included. The students were given the opportunity to experience the Swedish culture through a rich program of cultural and social activities in Jönköping and a trip to Vadstena, Brahehus and Gränna.

Students came from Jönköping University's partner universities Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador; Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico; Stellenbosch University, South Africa, King Mongkut University of Technology North Bangkok and Rangsit University, Thailand; Georgia State University and University of Central Florida, USA.
