Israeli ambassador visits JIBS

A guest lecture from the Israeli ambassador and a national award ceremony top the Global Entrepreneurship Week at Jönköping International Business School.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit – people who bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. JIBS, of course, takes part in the celebration – entrepreneurial in mind is one of our guiding principles after all. Come join the celebration!

Israeli ambassador to Sweden, Isaac Bachman, gives a guest lecture about Innovation, Entrepreneurship and the unknown Israel, followed by a Q&A session. The lecture will be introduced by JIBS’ CEO and Dean, professor Johan Roos. The Israeli entrepreneurial scene has developed into one of the most successful in the world, yet has received very little attention. The ambassador’s guest lecture aims to change this and to make known what characterizes entrepreneurship and innovation in Israel. The lecture is open to the public.

(Thursday November 21, at 14-15.30, B1033, JIBS)

The afternoon continues with the prize ceremony for Årets entreprenör (entrepreneur of the year) followed by mingle and networking opportunity. The Årets entrepreneur-award was founded in 1995 by the Bolleks Kunskapsfond Foundation, to be awarded to deserving Swedish entrepreneurs. The winners will be introduced by those who nominated them, and then talk about their entrepreneurial journey. The prize ceremony and mingle is open to the public.
