This autumn, JU Reads is launching – a new initiative at JU that gives students the chance to read fiction together with others and discover new perspectives. Registration is now open!

Through books and discussions, JU Reads aims to foster greater understanding, empathy, and critical thinking – both in your studies and in life in general. During the autumn semester, book groups will start at JU, in both Swedish and English, where you'll have the chance to discuss literature in small groups and develop both your ideas and your communication skills.

Be there from the start – launch party on 3 September at 15:00

On 3 September, at 15-16 in the JMW Hall at the library, students, staff, and the general public are invited to an inspiring launch event. It will feature networking and an exciting author talk with Lydia Sandgren. Lydia Sandgren is a Swedish author and winner of the 2020 August Prize, known for her acclaimed novels Samlade Verk and Artens överlevnad.
