Scholarships to support studying abroad

On Monday 18 May, students, evaluators, and representatives of the Jönköping Borgarekassa & Bjuggska Foundation gathered at Jönköping University for the spring scholarship award ceremony.

The scholarships were presented by the foundation’s chair, Camilla Elm, and board member and evaluator Pär Löfstedt. Seventeen JIBS students received Excellence Scholarships of 35,000 SEK each. Scholarships are awarded only to students enrolled in a full-time programme at JIBS with a major in business administration and a focus on the following areas: entrepreneurship, marketing, and management. The scholarships provide support for study abroad through JIBS’s exchange programmes.

For over 200 years, the Jönköpings Borgarekassa & Bjuggska Fonden Foundation has supported those in need in the city. Since 1987, the Foundation has supported young talent in the region through scholarships for education in commerce and crafts. It is a tradition the Foundation is proud to carry on, and this year’s scholarship recipients are shining proof that the future is in good hands. Warm congratulations to all scholarship recipients!

During the ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception and cake together with the scholarship recipients and representatives of the foundation - a festive and well-deserved conclusion!
