JTH students light up Alingsås
Students from the Lighting Design and Technology programme at the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU) have made light installations for Lights in Alingsås, where 20 nations participate.
"They have created visual experiences that are viewed and admired by thousands of people," says Johan Röklander, teacher of the students.
The JTH students have spent ten days working in Alingsås to pull kilometers of cable and set up thousands of lamps and more. Lights in Alingsås is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and therefore invited lighting designers from 20 nations. The light event runs until 3 November.
